A series of serene and modest works.

At first site, this brooches could be a part of the clothing that one wears. The shape and colors are undemanding.
Depending on the position the spectator the ornament reveals itself; first a color -monocrome/various whites-, than a shape -rectangular- and at finally the detailing.
Only if you come closer to the wearer, you can see the details of the brooche, and its elaborated structures.
These objects do not seek for attention but need to be given attention.
The spectator has to take time to zoom in on the piece of work, to see it and to value (appreciate) it. So it is not only about the wearer but also about the bystanders.
